Hi! I'm Paul. This is the medal I won when I and my workmates joined a half marathon race. Since it was my first race ever, I wanted to finish it as well as get good time too. Depends on length of run. Training runs and half marathons you carb load in smaller portions more frequently. So, a bowl of oatmeal is just fine so long as you are incorporating carbs in even portions throughout all of your meals. I wouldn’t guzzle water before a run, too many pee stops. Keep it small and sip throughout. Chirunning sounds really interesting, it’s my next read. Anything that claims to eliminate injury is good! So happy to help! Talk to you Soon!
….I need clarification,
1. so do u have have to “load up” on carbs or is a bowl of out meal good enough?
2. A lot of water or just 16 oz?
3. What is your opinion on Chirunning?
